LIMITED TIME: Best Educational Trials for Families

Another one of my favorite resources for educational TV is Curiosity Stream, which is only $2.99/month or $20 for a whole year. They have such a wide variety of shows for kids! It’s like an educational Netflix. 🙂 While they don’t have any freebies, they are having a special of $12 for the full year – that’s basically for a month.
Reading A-Z is having a free 90 day trial. They have a variety of leveled reading passages AND comprehension quizzes for ages 4-11 in English and Spanish! You can set up accounts for each child and they can use the app which is nice. One teacher can create accounts for up to 36 students.
Scribd is having a 30 day trial. They have a variety of e-books and audiobooks. They’re mostly aimed at adults, but you can find ones like Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover and the graphic novel version of A Wrinkle in Time.
Musik at Home is opening up free, unlimited access to their class series, Family Music for Mixed Ages through April 3, 2020.

VidAngel is offering a two-week free trial of its filtering service. I love VidAngel because YOU get to choose what to filter. Literally – you have 100% control over everything it filters from sexual content, violence, and profanity. You can choose to just filter the harsher profanities or all, same with other content. Even as an adult, I often just have television on in the background and I don’t like looking up from a great show to see an R-rated scene.
ABC Mouse is having a 30 day free trial for their program, which is a full online curriculum for kiddos ages 2-8.
