Honey Shea Studios Necklace Review + April 2015 Coupon

Honey Shea Studios Review

I met Honey Shea, the owner of Honey Shea studios, at a craft networking event. I try to work with brands I only genuinely enjoy, and with Mother’s Day quickly approaching, I knew HSS would be the perfect brand to work with.

Honey Shea Studios evolved with Honey’s passion for creativity, and prayers of where God wanted to lead her. A friend asked her to create a piece of jewelry, and although she didn’t at the time, after many more requests, Honey Shea Studios took off. You can read more about Honey’s story here. Honey is great to work with and quick to reply, making communication easy, which is something I’ve struggled with with other brands. Shipping was also quite quick.

I’m not a bling-y person, and I honestly don’t wear jewelry too often because I don’t like big, bright necklaces on my petite frame. HSS necklaces are small and elegant; providing a nice touch of color and class WITHOUT vying for attention or blinding anyone with sparkle. It is also quite versatile – most colored jewelry, and even too much sparkle, won’t work with every outfit. HSS necklaces can be paired with virtually any outfit.

The hardest part about buying online is the quality. Oftentimes, pictures can be deceiving and the item you bought online turns out to be a different color than pictured (due to lighting), or just sloppy quality. I love the quality of my necklace, and HSS’s others seem to be of similar quality. Most of her necklaces are 14K gold, and look just as great in-person as on the screen.

To find out more about Honey, you can follow her on Twitter, Instagram, and visit her Etsy shop to look at and purchase.

Especially for my readers, Honey Shea Studios is offering a 20% off coupon this month for my readers! Use coupon code LECHAIM20.

Disclaimer: A received a Honey Shea Studios necklace in exchange for an honest review, and I have met the owner in real life. You can read my full disclaimer here.
