Any reader knows that you can never have too many bookmarks around! Here are some adorable DIY bookworm bookmarks for kids!
Ever since I was younger, I’ve always enjoyed a good book. (check out my book lists here) Between me and my sisters, there never seemed to be enough bookmarks laying around the house!
Get outside on a warm sunny day or snuggle inside by the fire as snow falls. Enjoy creating this easy and simple bookworm bookmark! Make a few of them so you can always have little bookworms around the house!
To start off, gather your materials.

- Scrapbook paper or card stock
- Scissors
- Small giggly eyes
- Elmer’s glue
- Marker
- Small 2-3” circle/lid (I used a bubble lid)
- Pencil
Grab your small circle lid. Using a pencil, trace your circle lid onto a couple pieces of scrap book paper so you have 5 circles per bookworm. You can choose to color code them, make a rainbow, or use any colors and patterns you want!
Cut out the circles with scissors.
Using your glue, glue the circles together in a wavy line, as shown.
Glue two googly eyes onto the circle farthest right and draw a smiley face (or other funny face!) underneath. Let it dry for a few hours, and ta-da, you have a beautiful bookworm bookmark!
