For this first time in what seems like a decade (Ok, maybe it has been), our family has decided to do Christmas cards! Here are some of my favorite Christmas verses for handmade cards!
Christmas Verses for Handmade Cards:
Isaiah 7:14: Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
Isaiah 53:5: But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 9:6: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
1 John 5:11: And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Luke 2:10: But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Luke 2:11: Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Luke 2:14: Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.
Other Great Verses:
Romans 5:1: Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
James 1:17: Every good and perfect gift is from above.
Psalm 27:1: The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
Micah 6:8: And what does the Lord require of you? To seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.
Ephesians 4:29: Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Joshua 1:9: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
1 Corinthians 16:14: Do everything in love.
Deuteronomy 6:5: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
